Excellent progress on HMS Lynx construction

Thursday December 15th, 2011 - Our New Vessel has a Name!
We are pleased to announce that the Membership, through the voting process last evening, has decided that HMS Lynx will be the name of our new vessel, winning by a large majority on the final vote.

The Ship`s Company attended this years Celebrate Barrie Event at the Barrie waterfront.

Two local mayors welcome boating season in a unique way today.

Friday March 25th, 2011 - Ship's Company Receives Trillium Grant
A grant was presented to The Ship's Company of Penetanguishene to buy sails, a motor and trailer for a replica gunboat to be used in historical re-enactments associated with bicentennial activities.

HMS Badger Leads Starboard Squadron! Canada's east coast Navy celebrated the 250th anniversary of the founding of Her Majesty's Canadian (HMC) Dockyard Halifax.

Despite the full schedule the Ship's Company found the time to get all three of our vessels out sailing for a "Fleet" photo. It was a perfect evening for sailing and for those people along the Penetanguishene waterfront a real delight to see. Traditional seamanship, living history, and fun for members, what a great time.
